Impressive what this woman can do
Flaming red mane, freckles and a stunning wide smile: This is how Andrea Sawatzki has played herself in the past 30 years into the hearts of TV and cinema viewers - including in the "Familie Bundschuh" series. But she can do much more than just look great, because the 61-year-old has proven her talent in many areas in the past - as an actress, audio book narrator, singer, presenter, author of crime novels, novels and screenplays and even as a "Playboy" model.
She is also the loving wife of her colleague Christian Berkel (66, “The Criminalist”), with whom she has raised two sons. But her happiness is no coincidence:
"Working on a relationship sounds unsexy," Andrea said recently in an interview with "Mach mal Pause". But that is exactly her secret recipe for maintaining her love. "Making an effort for the other person may not be exciting for many people. But I think that's what it is in the end!"

In fact, she and her sweetheart work together from time to time – most recently for the film “Cross shot“, which will be shown on Arte on September 27th. Here, however, they do not play a couple, but siblings. Exciting role reversal!
