What you need for your sniffer ball
1. 1,40m x 1,00m fleece fabric
2. 4 Cable Ties
3. Paper & pen, scissors, a craft knife, sandpaper or nail darts
Sniffer ball: And this is how it's done in 5 steps:
Step 1:
Make a circle template out of the paper. The circle should have a diameter of 20cm. Then cut 32 circles out of your fleece fabric. If you want to use two colors of fabric, just make sure you get 16 fleece circles from each fabric.

Step 2:
Now take a circle and fold it in half. Then fold the semicircle in half again to create a quarter circle. Now use the craft knife to poke a hole through the folded fabric, below the tip of your quarter circle. You should make sure that you puncture all four layers of the fleece fabric.
Step 3:
Now do this with all the fleece circles. Then take 8 quarter circles each and thread them onto a cable tie. The open edge and the folded edge always alternately point upwards. If you have chosen two colors, you can easily alternate them. With one color the open edge always faces upwards, with the other color the folded edge. Finally, loosely close the cable tie into a ring.
Step 4:
Now take a second cable tie and do the same thing with it: Thread 8 quarter circles again, alternating. But before you close it, thread it through the ring of your first cable tie. Do the same with the remaining two cable ties. First thread through the 8 quarter circles and then through the first cable tie.
Step 5:
In the last step, you tighten the individual cable ties piece by piece. This will take the sniffer ball for yours Dog taking more and more shape. Last but not least, cut off the protruding ends of the cable ties and round off the ends, which may have sharp edges, with sandpaper or nail arrows. You can also add a drop of hot glue to it.
